Mrs. Laura Holland

I am excited to start my 6th year at St. Jude as the music teacher! I feel lucky to have students year after year and enjoy watching them grow. We are fortunate to have so many classroom instruments and resources so hopefully there is a little something for everyone! I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music at UC. My first job was at Our Lady of Victory School where I taught many of our current St. Jude parents! Between then and now, I have directed children's choirs and taught Kindermusik for children ages 18 months to 5 years as well as piano and voice private lessons. When not at school, I like hanging out with my husband and 4 children (3 are grown and my youngest is in 8th grade this year at St. Jude). I love books, coffee, chocolate chip cookies and growing things in my garden. I also became obsessed with amigurumi during the pandemic and love to crochet little critters.

A thorough background check is required for all those employed or volunteering to work with youth or vulnerable adults as a cleric, at a parish or school, as an Archdiocesan employee or at an Archdiocesan institution. All volunteers and employees are required to complete the electronic/online background check through SELECTION.com prior to beginning their volunteer activity or employment. In addition to the electronic/online background check, employees are required to complete manual fingerprinting and submit a B4 form before begin- ning their employment at an Archdiocesan parish, school, or institution.
